Chamaenerion angustifolium
This perennial herb features rhizome-like root, growing between 0.5 and 2.5m in height and features narrow, finely toothed green leaves and magenta to pink elongating flowers.
Found in mesic open forests, meadows and thickets throughout BC as well as roadsides/ditches, clearings and burns in all vegetation zones.
