Deciduous shrub or small tree growing to 4-15m featuring alternating, shiny, narrow leaves. Shoots are greenish-brown to grey-brown. Flowers produced in late spring are yellow catkins 1-9cm.
Common to wetland environments, the Pacific Willow responds well to fires or herbivory activity (ex. beavers).
