Bluejoint reedgrass
Calamagrostis canadensis
A tough rhizomatous grass reaching 60-150cm(2-5ft) in height. 3-8 nodes, hairy leafy blades. Open and loose or narrow and packed inflorescence. Livestock and wild grazing animals may use graze as a food plant. Found in meadows, open forests, bogs, marshes in lowland to lower alpine zones.
