Kinnikinnick is a smallish evergreen prostrate shrub featuring a trailing stem. Reddish and brownish bark, alternate evergreen leathery leaves, egg or spoon shaped. Pinkish white urn shaped flowers. Bright red berries.
Common throughout BC in dry forests and exposed, often rocky, sites in the lowland to lower alpine zones.
